MnDOT to host virtual TPI Project update on April 25th

(Duluth, MN) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be gathering together to give a virtual update on the Twin Ports Interchange Project in Duluth on Monday, April 25th at 12:15pm.

MnDOT and project staff will give an update on the project and answer any questions during the meeting. Currently the TPI project has traffic impacts of Northbound I-35 right lane closures being periodical between Highway 53 and Garfield Avenue. All ramps between 27th avenue West and 5th Avenue West are closed. Southbound I-35 traffic is routed onto Lower Michigan Street near Garfield Avenue and back onto I-35 just north of 27th Avenue West. Northbound I-35 traffic is routed onto the existing southbound lanes of I-35. A temporary traffic signal is in operation at the intersection of Piedmont and 24th Avenue West.
