NCE Celebrating Birthday of Dr. Seuss; FFA Week
Twin Valley, MN — It’s a busy week at the Norman County East School this week as the elementary celebrates reading and Dr. Seuss’s birthday and the high school celebrates the FFA.
February is I Love to Read Month, which comes to a close this week as they celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd. Norman County East Elementary Principal Raina Askin talks about why we celebrate Dr. Seuss and some of the ways in which they’ll be doing that this week at NCE.
As mentioned, the FFA program is also celebrating their FFA program. In addition to their dress up days and activities, Askin invites the community to support the program at their fundraiser meal prior to the boys basketball game this Thursday.
The NCE FFA Pulled Pork dinner will run from 4:30pm until 7pm in the school cafeteria. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for kids under 12.
