ND East Region Cross Country
COOPERSTOWN, ND—Hillsboro/Central Valley’s girls dominated the competition at the North Dakota Class B East Region Cross Country meet Saturday in Cooperstown. The Burros’ Claire Grinde finished first in a time of 18:10.2. Teammate Caroline Anderson placed second, with HCV’s Kayla Moch placing fourth. In all, seven HCV runners finished in the top 20. In the boys race, Owen Johnson of Northern Cass finished first in 16:04.7…almost 37 seconds ahead of runner-up Tyler Gronwold of Kindred. Nico Zink of Hillsboro/Central Valley was sixth.
