ND School Board Elections Tuesday
This is School Board Election Day in North Dakota. Polls are open until 7 o’clock tonight around the region.
In Hillsboro, one candidate is running for the only open seat on the school board; Bill Cotton is running to replace Tim Kozojed, who decided not to run for another term after 12 years on the board. Hillsboro voters are also being asked if the Hillsboro School District should publish a record of school board proceedings in the district’s newspaper of general circulation over the next two years.
In the Central Valley school district, there is no opposition for the three seats on the ballot. Board President David Knudsvig is not running for re-election for the Area 3 seat, which covers Buxton Township and parts of Union and Morgan townships. Jamie Kloster is running unopposed. For the area representing the City of Buxton, incumbent Jeremy Billings is running unopposed. And Jeffrey Bjorge is running unopposed for the area covering Bingham and Belmont townships. Incumbent Josh Ensign is not running for re-election.
Once again, polls in North Dakota are open until 7 tonight.
