Norman County 4-H at the Fair!

Ada, MN — It just wouldn’t be a fair without the 4-H, and as the Norman County Fair gets underway today the Norman County 4-H is encouraging fairgoers to support the local 4-Hers at their various events and activities throughout the fair. Linda Houglum of the Norman County 4-H runs down the different things 4-Hers will be busy with over the next four days.

There will be no live poultry exhibits at the fair this year due the avian influenza, but Houglum notes that they are being creative to still provide some education and show the youth poultry projects.

None of the 4-H activities and events would be possible without the continued support from the community and volunteers and Houglum strongly encourage fairgoers to check out all the exhibits and judging events during the fair to show your support that way as well.

The 4-H Food Stand will be open for breakfast and lunch during most days of the Norman County Fair as well.
