Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday night, April 12th, which was a week ahead of the normal time due to the Easter break. At the meeting the board accepted the resignation of Principal Dustin Flaten. Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell says they wish him well in his next venture as Superintendent at Ulen-Hitterdal.

The board also approved the new non-certified staff contracts. Superintendent Nudell notes that the new contracts should help them become more competitive in the job market.

Discussion continued this month about purchasing a shot clock, which will be required in a couple years. Nudell says they opted for a standalone unit versus an entirely new scoreboard.

And the Norman County East School accepted the resignation of two paraprofessionals, including longtime para Lori Brouillard.

The next Norman County East School Board meeting is scheduled for May 16th at 5:30pm.
