Norman County East School Board News & Notes from June 20th Meeting
Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, June 20th. At the meeting the board approved a memorandum of understanding to move forward with offering E-sports as an extracurricular activity this coming school year. Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell says they’ve had a lot of interest in the offering.
The school board also approved their preliminary budget for the 2022-2023 school year which Superintendent Nudell says is expected to be in the black.
And Nudell provides an update on some staffing items from this week’s meeting as well.
Also for those looking into running for the school board this fall, Nudell notes that there are three positions up for grabs and the filing period is just around the corner.
The Norman County East School Board meets on the third Monday of each month.
