Norman County East Students Take Part in “Be Kind Day”
Twin Valley, MN — More than 125 students from the Norman County East High School were out and about doing good deeds in the community on Wednesday as part of their annual “Be Kind Day.” Students performed a number of chores in the cities of Twin Valley, Flom, and Gary and were treated to a perfect weather day, according to Jodi Douville of the Norman County East School.
For lunch, the Twin Valley Community Boosters served the students a hamburger and hot dog lunch and Planx donated ice cream treats as well. Douville says the Be Kind Days takes a lot of work from a lot of different people and she appreciates all who make it happen.
The Norman County East Elementary got in on the Be Kind Day as well, but stayed closer to the school by cleaning up around the playground and the nearby Valley Pines.
