Norman County Salvation Army Kicks Off Red Kettle Campaign

November 21, 2022 News -- KRJB-KRJM-KKCQ 0

Ada, MN — As the holiday season approaches, the bells will be ringing! The Norman County Salvation Army is kicking off their red kettle campaign and is encouraging folks to give and support those in need in Norman County. The red kettles will be placed at area businesses and events throughout the holiday season and when you drop some change, a few dollars, or whatever you feel comfortable giving, that money goes back directly to help people here in Norman County.

Along with the stationary kettles, the Norman County Salvation Army is also in need of volunteers to bell ring outside of the various high traffic areas. Many area organizations have signed up so far, but Eggen says the more the merrier as bell ringing brings in the most amount of donations.

This year’s fundraising goal is $6,500 for the Norman County Salvation Army. That money goes back into providing one-time emergency funding for people in need here in the county.
