Norman County Sheriff Jeremy Thornton Placed on Hospice
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting has sent out the following release at the request of Sheriff Thornton and the Norman County Sheriff’s Office,
On December 8th, 2022, Sheriff Jeremy Thornton of the Norman County Sheriff’s Office was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and has been doctoring since. Sheriff Thornton is being placed on Hospice Care today and will be brought home under their care.
Sheriff Thornton’s family would like to thank the Norman County community for their support over the past several years.
