Norman-Mahnomen Public Health Recommends Annual Well-Child Check Ups Before School

Ada, MN — With just over a month before school starts, Norman-Mahnomen Public Health is reminding parents to make sure your child has their necessary immunizations and conducted the required physicals before they head back to class. In addition to what’s required, Tracy Johnson with Norman-Mahnomen Public Health recommends a well-child check up every year.

While a child or teenager’s body is much more forgiving than an adults, Johnson notes that it’s very important to start taking care of your body at a younger age to avoid problems later in life.
