North Dakota State Class B Legion Tournament Day One Recap

THOMPSON 10 LANGDON 0 (5-innings)

Brayden Wolfgram went 2-2 with a 3-run triple in the third inning and Drew Odenbach added 2 RBI for Thompson. Jeromy Tyce picked up the win, giving up 1 hit, 3 walks and 5 strikeouts in 4 innings of work.

LINTON-ASHLEY-WISHEK 8 CANDO 2 (9-innings)

Linton-Ashley-Wishek scored 6 runs in the top of the 9th inning to move into the winner’s bracket at the State B Tournament. Caleb Kosiak went 3-5 with 2 runs scord and Avery Brokaw went 2-4 with a run scored for Linton-Ashley-Wishek.

Karsen Simoon was 1-2 with 1 triple, 2 walks and a run scored for Cando.

LAMOURE 4 RENVILLE COUNTY 3

Logan Potts had the walk off single in the bottom of the as LaMoure heads to the winner’s bracket on Saturday. Owen Lesko had a no decision, going 5 and 1/3 innings, giving up 3 earned runs on 4 hits and 6 strikeouts.
