North Stars Shut Out MIB 5-0

The Rainy Lake North Stars 14U plays at home against Mountain Iron where they would get a 5-0 win over the visitors. Leading the way for the North Stars was Brooks Deziel, who pitched a 7 inning shutout, giving up one hit and striking out 17. At the plate, Huxley Herges had two doubles, and two runs scored. Emmitt LaVigne had two singles and two RBI, and Teagan Green had one of the biggest hits of the game, a single in the 7th that scored two. The North Stars are 11-1 on the season and their next game is Monday in Hibbing.
