NW Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. Hosting Annual Winter Social at The Duece
Erskine, MN — The Northwest Chapter of ABATE, or the American Bikers for Awareness, Training, and Education, of Minnesota welcomes all to their annual Winter Social this Saturday, February 4th at The Deuce Bar & Grill in Erskine. ABATE is a non-profit, grass roots organization that is committed to education motorcyclists and the general public about motorcycling, according to Northwest Chapter President Greg McGlynn.
The Winter Social gets underway on Saturday at 5pm with a free will BBQ Chicken meal, followed by their monthly meeting, games, and live music from the Bad Campers. McGlynn says all are welcome to stop by and learn more about the Northwest Chapter of ABATE and what they do.
Some members of the group also recently participated in the 17th annual Biker Day at the Minnesota State Capitol. According to the group’s website, A.B.A.T.E. also seeks to promote the positive aspects of motorcycling and strives to protect the rights of motorcyclists by being involved in the local, state and national political process.
