One Dead In Marshall County Collision

NEWFOLDEN, MN—A woman from Karlstad was killed in a two vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in Newfolden Township.  The Minnesota State Patrol says an SUV driven by a 79-year-old woman from Karlstad was going south on Highway 59 at 12:48pm when it collided with a northbound semi driven by 64-year-old Robert Benson of Mahnomen.   The victim’s name has not been released.  Benson was not injured.
