Overnight Accident Blocks I-29

FARGO, ND—A two vehicle crash blocked traffic on northbound Interstate 29 in Fargo overnight. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a semi driven by a 72-year-old man from Brainerd was entering northbound I-29 at about 2:30am Friday…when it was rear-ended by a cattle hauler driven by a 66-year-old man from Forrest, Manitoba. The driver of the cattle hauler was able to get out of his vehicle before it caught fire and became engulfed. The driver of the cattle hauler was taken to a Fargo hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was not hurt. No names have been released. Northbound I-29 was reopened to traffic around 6:20am. The Highway Patrol says charges are pending.
