Perley Road Raise Project On Track for 2024

Perley, MN — All signs are pointing towards complete flood protection for the city of Perley as soon as next summer. The Wild Rice Watershed District has officially received grant approval from FEMA to complete the Highway 75 road raises through town. Without the grant, Perley residents would have had to wait for the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s original project timeline of 2029. Tara Jensen, Wild Rice Watershed District Administrator provided an update on the project while on the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program this week.
