Polk County Commission Update
Fosston, MN — The Polk County Board of Commissioners are looking into new radios for Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Commissioner Joan Lee provided an update on the most recent board meeting and Polk County happenings while on the KKCQ Food for Thought Program this week. Lee says the current radios being used the Sheriff’s Office are becoming antiquated, so they have began exploring their options.
The Polk County Board of Commissioners also approved a contract to conduct a Wage Market Analysis Study, which Lee says will help ensure that county employees are getting paired fairly.
And the board was happy to write a couple of letters of support for the city of Fosston and a couple of their infrastructure projects.
