Producers Reminded of Insurance Requirements For Whip Plus and Quality Loss Program

The Farm Service Agency reminds producers who participated in the Whip Plus or Quality Loss program in 2018 or 2019 and received a payment under Whip Plus (the Wildfire, Hurricane Indemnity Program) or the Quality Loss Adjustment program for either production or quality losses occurring in the 2018 or 2019 crop years you are required to meet linkage requirements and obtain insurance for the 2022 and 2023 crop years as Nathan Peterson with FSA explains.

The sales closing date for spring seeded crops is March 15th for both insured or non-insured crops.
