Red Lake County Central 1st Hall Of Fame Class

PLUMMER, MN—Red Lake County Central is starting something many schools in the region have: a Hall of Fame.  The first group for the hall will be inducted Saturday night.  Red Lake County Central Activities Director Kate Moll tells us more.

The class includes Charles and Connie Bishop, a married couple who taught and coached at Red Lake County Central.  Connie played basketball for Oklee, then became an elementary school teacher in Oklee and Plummer for 34 ½ years.  Charlie Bishop was a longtime wrestling coach in the district.  And the late Gary Brantl, who coached football and wrestling for Plummer and Red Lake County Central.  Moll says this first hall of fame class has met with the community’s approval.
