Red River Valley Producers showing new interest in Barley

July 22, 2024 Farm News News -- KRJB-KRJM-KKCQ 0

Barley production across the Red River Valley has been steadily declining over years, but new interests in barley have kept its production alive across the region. Another change that the barley industry is seeing is a change from six row barley to two row barley, and Smith explained why production is trending this way.
