Representative Deb Kiel Seeks Another Term

Representative Deb Kiel of Crookston has served as state representative for District 1-B since 2010 and hopes to continue representing the people of northwestern Minnesota at the Capitol.

Deb was born and raised south of Crookston where her parents still reside on the family farm. Deb and Lonn Kiel have been married for 43 years. They are both partners in life and on their family farm. As an active farmer, Deb has a special interest in ag issues. She serves as Vice-Chair of the House Ag Finance Committee. As such, she was especially pleased that they were able to pass the ag bill and provide drought relief for farmers.

While a special session appears unlikely, should lawmakers get called back to the capitol, Kiel says they need pass the tax relief package.
