Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse Host Oktoberfest Fall Throwdown

Local festival-goers and autumn enthusiasts can look forward to high-stakes competition and festive traditions at the Ruffed House Fall Throwdown: Oktoberfest Games & Shenanigans. The community autumn celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, beginning at noon at the Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse in Lengby, offering a full afternoon of lively outdoor entertainment, food, and games.

A major highlight of the festivities includes headline competitions with substantial cash payouts. Attendees can test their appetite and artistic skill in the featured Pumpkin Carving and Hot Dog Eating contests, with the top winner of each challenge walking away with a $500 cash prize. In addition to the main stage eating and carving showdowns, visitors can take part in a bean bag tournament throughout the afternoon.

Organizers are encouraging all guests to fully embrace the seasonal spirit by dressing the part, whether in traditional Bavarian lederhosen and dirndls or festive fall attire. Community members and interested participants can learn more about event details and contest sign-ups by checking out the Ruffed Grouse Roadhouse Facebook page or calling 218-668-2111.
