Santa Day & Dollars for Scholars Turkey Bingo this Saturday at Twin Valley Community Center
Twin Valley, MN — It’s a busy week at the Twin Valley Community Center. The Twin Valley Community Boosters kicked off their annual Parade of Trees on Wednesday and this Saturday, December 3rd they’ll host a visit from Santa and the Dollars for Scholar’s will put on their annual Turkey Bingo.
Santa Day will run from 2-4pm and Tracy Christianson with the Twin Valley Community Boosters says they’ll have cookies for decorating, fun games to win, crafts to make, treats, and more.
And Saturday evening starting at 6pm, the Norman County East Dollars for Scholars will host their 56th annual Turkey Bingo at the Community Center. Norman County East Principal Raina Askin says not only is it fun, but it helps make sure every student heading off to college has a scholarship.
There will be 60 games of Bingo played, including a blackout prize of a $100 gift certificate to Gerry’s Foods and a grand prize $100 meat bundle to Johnson’s Market. Sandwiches, chips, pop, bars, and coffee will all be available for purchase. Dollars for Scholars will also be selling $5 raffle tickets for a chance to $500, $100, and $50 cash prizes. Each raffle ticket also includes 5 five free games of bingo.
