School Bus Driver Appreciation Day

Wednesday is the tenth annual School Bus Driver Appreciation Day in Minnesota. Ada-Borup-West Transportation Director Shawn Roux is glad the thousands of school bus drivers in the state get recognized.

Roux says young students will often make a connection with their school bus drivers.

In Minnesota, there’s a shortage of school bus drivers and Roux says the Ada-Borup-West district is no exception.

School bus driving is the largest form of mass transit in Minnesota, moving more people each day than any other transportation system in the state.
