Seasonal Load Limits for Morrison County

Spring Load Restrictions go into effect Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 12:01 AM on all Morrison County Highways. Posted axle weight limits control vehicle weights on posted roads. All restriction limits are gross axle weights. No overweight permits will be issued to vehicles that exceed posted limits.

 Minnesota Statute 169.87 establishes weight restrictions. The weight on any single axle shall not exceed 5 tons on any unpaved highway; or 10 tons on paved highways unless posted otherwise between the dates set by the Commissioner of Transportation.

 Cooperation and compliance with legal posted limits are needed to minimize unnecessary damage to our roads.

 Restrictions will remain in effect until further notice.
