Seven County Senior Federation in “quiet month” prepare for Medicare Open Enrollment

(Mora, MN) — During the “quiet month” of September, the Seven County Senior Federation is preparing for many questions and meetings concerning any changes or updates for Medicare Open Enrollment.

In our monthly conversation with Federation Executive Director Lisa Krahn, she talked about the soon-to-be increased schedule for answering any questions the aging population may have on their insurance coverage.

The Open Enrollment Period isn’t until October but announcements on changes to Medicare coverage are coming.

Krahn did get into detail on some potential changes and scenarios that could occur with the start of Open Enrollment.

Personal changes, whether prescription drugs or health changes, will also be addressed in the coming months.
