Polk County Sherriff Jim Tadman was in studio to remind motorists once again to watch for students going back to school. School Bus Safety is always a focus this time of year. In Minnesota school buses make at least 10,000 trips daily. With those kind of numbers it is no question why this subject is one worth focusing on:

Over the years traffic violations involving School Buses have decreased dramatically, largely due to educating drivers as well as students. A School Bus Violation is no joke, and a costly mistake.

Lastly, Sherriff Tadman reminds motorists to be on the lookout for farm machinery this time of year. Between Harvest and Back to School, its a great reminder to be an alert driver and to share the road.
