Special Fertile City Council Meeting

FERTILE, MN—

The Fertile City Council has called a special meeting for Tuesday night.  The agenda has two items regarding the Fair Meadow Nursing Home.  One is about appointments to the nursing home’s advisory board; the other concerns disposal of beds.  

The City of Fertile owns Fair Meadow Nursing Home and many citizens are unhappy with the City Council’s decision to remove Angie Leiting as nursing home administrator back in June. At the October Fertile City Council meeting, it was learned that the advisory board has members who don’t know they’re on that board.

Tuesday’s Fertile City Council meeting is set for 7:00 at the Council Chambers.
