Springtime, which officially starts March 20, is traditionally a time when we clear clutter, clean our homes, and open the windows to let in fresh air and light. It’s also a great time to clear out thoughts and emotions that are holding us back, says veteran holistic physician and bestselling author Dr. Bradley Nelson. Read on for details and contact us to speak with Dr. Brad or book him on your program.

Spring-cleaning your energetic “house”

Author of bestselling books “The Emotion Code” and “The Body Code,” Dr. Brad is one of the world’s foremost experts on natural methods of achieving wellness. Here are a few of his tips for clearing your heart, mind, and home for new possibilities this spring:

Clear Trapped Emotions: Trapped Emotions, commonly known as emotional baggage, can clutter your body’s vibration, leading to a wide variety of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual issues. Dr. Brad developed the Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code to help people clear these stagnant energies. Learn about how to spring-clean your body, mind, and soul at discoverhealing.com.

Renew Your Surroundings: A clean, organized home can help improve your mental and emotional state. Take a day to deep clean your home, de-clutter your space, and donate or recycle items that you no longer need.

Spring Into Healthy Habits: Spring can be a wonderful time to evaluate your routines and make adjustments.Think about your daily habits, write them down, and create a plan to make one small shift this week to better align your habits with your goals. For example, if the habit you’re focusing on is exercising more frequently, it might be as simple as adding one lunchtime stroll to your schedule.

Cleanse Negative Thoughts: Sometimes we internalize negative thoughts about ourselves or our lives. If, for example, you often think things like “I can’t do that” or “I won’t succeed,” consider if that is really true. Ask questions such as: “Why do I think this? Do I benefit from this thought? How might I feel if I no longer believed it?” Take time to journal your answers to these questions to help you identify and start disrupting negative thought patterns. Getting rid of negative thoughts can make a big difference in your perception of yourself and how you move through your life.

“Much of the basis of energy healing is about renewing and restoring. It’s about ‘cleaning up’ your own energy, feeling lighter and more joyful,” Dr. Brad says. “Take this opportunity to clean and renew your energetic ‘house,’ and release negativity and imbalances that could be affecting your mind, body, and spirit.”
