Spring Turkey Hunters in WMA’s need to apply by February 11th

(Minnesota) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is reminding turkey hunters they have until Friday, February 11th to apply for turkey hunting permits for the spring seasons.
A-C spring hunting season in the Mille Lacs, Carlos Avery, and Whitewater wildlife management areas will be open to turkey hunters age 18 and over hoping to bag a turkey tom with a firearm. Successful applicants will be selected through a permit lottery.
All other spring turkey licenses will go on sale March 1st for hunting from mid-April to the end of May. Find out more about the spring turkey hunting season, licenses, and more on the DNR’s wild turkey hunting website.
