Sugarbeet Planting season still a ways away 

With the weather as nice as it has been as of late, and area producers are itching to get in their fields for planting season. However for sugarbeet growers, they’ll have to wait for the time being. Dr Tom Peters of NDSU Extension says the ground is still too cold, and it will be awhile before its ready. 

While sugarbeet growers wait to get in the field, Peters says now’s a good time for producers to finalize their weed management plans.
