BUXTON, ND—Both incumbents running for re-election in Tuesday’s Central Valley School Board races were re-elected without opposition. Curt Hong received all 55 votes cast in area 4, while current School Board President Gregg Saure received all 54 votes cast in area 7. Both men will serve three year terms.
A 0.5% sales tax measure was on the ballot for residents in the Hillsboro city limits, and the measure passed with widespread support on Tuesday with 591 people voting in favor of the new tax, and just 185 voting against.
