Talkin’ Tesla with Dave Rude

Tesla headlines Lakes Jam on Thursday’s rock night, and we chatted with guitarist and vocalist Dave Rude about the band and the appearance at Lakes Jam.

We asked what he enjoys the most about being part of the band.

Rude, who joined the band in 2006 and is the newest member, talks about how the crowd reacts when they realize they know the hit songs, even though they maybe didn’t realize Tesla performed them.

Rude talked about the excitement of playing the Lakes Jam festival as opposed to a single show.

And for Rude, the trip is a bit of a homecoming.
