This month at Itasca State Park 

Itasca State Park will be taking a break from their program schedule, as they transition the park into winter, but there is still plenty to do in the park as fall continues to wind down. Itasca State Park lead naturalist Connie Cox says now is a great time to explore the park. 

While the park transitions to winter, Cox says they are starting to close some amenities. 

Cox says you should also mark November 27 on your calendar, as that’s when the next Minnesota Free Parks Day is.
