Traill County celebrates 4-H Achievement Days with great participation numbers
Traill County 4-H Achievement Days on Friday, June 19th will recognize the hard work and dedication of the 4-H kids and their projects from crafts to showing livestock and other animals. The day of showing will begin at 10am at the 4-H Quonsets near the Traill County Road Department building in Hillsboro. Traill County Extension’s Jill Murphy shares her excitement about the number of animals being shown.
Hotdogs and pulled pork will be provided for lunch and then the Strawbale Scramble will allow kids to search for “chips” to be redeemed for prizes.
The day wraps up with the Parade of Champions after the livestock show. Murphy explains the day’s final showcase.
