Traill County experiences power outage

Reports came in from multiple Traill County towns that power was down for significant amount of time Wednesday morning. Power in Hillsboro went out at approximately 10:54a.m. and came back at approximately 11:27a.m.

Casey Eggermont from the City of Hillsboro provides details on the cause of the outage and who was affected.

The City of Hillsboro did have some electrical work scheduled earlier in the morning that would induce brief planned outages, however, the outage affecting Traill County is believed to be unrelated to the city work.
