Traveling Vietnam Veterans Wall on Display in Gonvick this Weekend
Gonvick, MN — Clearwater County Veterans Services welcomes all to the city of Gonvick this weekend to take in the Vietnam Traveling Wall and pay their respects to the many who lost their lives in the Vietnam War. The wall itself is 300 feet long and is a 60% scale of the actual wall in Washington DC. Logan LeClair, Clearwater County Veterans Service Officer, talks about how the opportunity came to be to bring the wall to Gonvick.
There will 24/7 security all weekend long at the Vietnam Traveling Wall to keep an eye on things, as well as special events and resources for veterans, according to LeClair.
The Vietnam Veterans Traveling Wall can be viewed the Gonvick Fire Hall on the north side of town through July, 10th.
