Twin Valley, MN — The Twin Valley City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, June 13th at the Twin Valley Community Center. During the meeting, the council received their annual audit report from Hoffman, Phillip, and Martell. Twin Valley Mayor Ben Fall says their finances continue to be good shape and everything came back clean.

The council also decided to move forward with a conducting a brown goods collection later this summer. There were a number of items during the citywide spring cleanup that are not normally accepted, and Mayor Fall says this should help residents get rid of those without having to travel to the landfill.

More information about the brown goods collection should be available soon.

And the Twin Valley City Parks have been seeing a lot of use recently with the nicer weather. Fall notes that the splash park is now open for the summer and there has been lots of traffic at Heiberg.

The Twin Valley City Council also accepted donations from the One Fund Driver, accepted the resignation of part-time police officer, and approved building permits.
