Twin Valley City Council News & Notes from March 14th Meeting
Twin Valley, MN — The Twin Valley City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, March 14th at the Twin Valley Community Center. At the meeting, the council continued discussions on their snow removal policy, specifically as it pertains to the sidewalks in the downtown business corridor and along Highway 29 and Highway 32. Public Works typically maintains those sidewalks, which they will continue to do so as time allows, but Twin Valley Mayor Ben Fall says they wanted to encourage homeowners to make some efforts as well.
Under the Parks report, Mayor Fall says the committee is working on adding new signage to the various parks in the community, which was part of their new Parks Priority Plan.
And under Fire and Rescue, it was noted that they could use some new volunteers for their Rescue Squad. Fall says they have a good, experienced crew, but there is a need for additional help.
