Twin Valley Police Chief Stays With Department; Full-Time Officer Hired
Twin Valley, MN — Some good news for the City of Twin Valley and their two-person police department as it is back to being fully staffed. During their September meeting, the Twin Valley City Council received notice that both their Police Chief Jason Douville and full-time officer Adam Camp had submitted their resignations to move on to better paying opportunities. However, later during a special meeting the council agreed to a wage increase with the Chief, who has been with the department for 22 years, to keep him employed. And during this month’s meeting the city council hired a replacement for Camp, although potentially temporary, in their part-time officer Seth Bentley. Twin Valley Mayor Ben Fall says there were some serious concerns about the future of their department last month, and it’s good to move forward.
And the Twin Valley Police Department will be getting a new patrol vehicle. Mayor Fall says the department was due for a new one, but options were limited so they’ll be moving forward with a RAM pickup for their new vehicle.
In other news from the city of Twin Valley, Mayor Fall notes that the water tower painting project is complete, and residents should notice water pressure returning back to normal.
The Twin Valley City Council is scheduled to meet next on November 14th.
