Two from Halstad Charged with Burglary
Halstad, MN — Two people from Halstad are facing theft charges stemming from an incident back in August 2022. According to court documents, Hooker and Marciniak both entered a garage and trailer at a residence in which two individuals had just moved into in the city of Halstad on August 16th, 2022 and stole a number of items including Jordan shoes, antique radio, speakers, electronics and video games, camping items, and more. Upon searching the suspect, they also located credit cards that belonged to someone else and remnants of M30 fentanyl pills.
If convicted, Hooker faces a combined maximum of 18 years in prison and Marciniak faces a combined maximum of 10 years in prison. Their first appearance in court is set for March 15th.
