Two Injured In Polk County Accident

Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident Sunday morning in Polk County.  The Minnesota State Patrol says an SUV driven by 73-year-old Judy Lynn Pesek of Mayville was going north on County Road 4 in Columbia Township around 11:40am when it collided with an SUV driven by 71-year-old Lynn Ferrie of Bagley that was going east on US Highway 2.  Pesek and a passenger, 82-year-old Donald Morris of Crookston were both taken to Essentia Health Fosston with non-life-threatening injuries.  Ferrie and a passenger in his vehicle were not injured.
