Urgent care specialist Thomas Stearns joins Essentia Health Urgent Care-Baxter 

Essentia Health Urgent Care-Baxter is thrilled to welcome Thomas Stearns, a certified physician assistant specializing in urgent care.  

“I chose to join Essentia because I worked here as a phlebotomist years ago and really enjoyed it,” said Stearns. “I did some of my training and job shadowing here and they were all great experiences, so I was excited to come back.”    

Stearns received his education from Bethel University in St. Paul and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.  

“I enjoy the fast-paced environment and the variety of working in urgent care,” said Stearns. “I am passionate about helping my patients in urgent situations and strive to provide the best care I can.”
