Voyageurs National Park remains busy year-round as it has many activities and attractions that brings folks to the park to enjoy its beauty. With the year coming close to an end, we decided to reach out to a member of the Park’s staff to talk about the year in review.

Speaking of their Dark Skies, one of the Park’s biggest attractions for guests, Eric tells us about one of the first big events happening for Voyageurs in the new year.

So with the new year in mind, are there any goals that the Voyageurs staff have set for the park in 2025?

Those boat tours certainly will be their biggest focus thanks to the popularity they saw this past year.

Eric then shares the positives that they saw at the park in 2024.

He was then asked about the Park hours of operation and what those will be.

With how the weather has been lately with the snow and the cold, things are looking promising for those who always enjoy Voyageurs in the winter time the most.

One such activity is something that even Eric would like to try.

Which guests at the park can still rent out winter equipment from the park.

Now the cold weather may also imply that the ice is most likely thick enough to be on, which brings up the topic of ice safety.
