Wake The Lakes “Moron Lawbreaker for the Week”: British man tries to rob post office with plastic bag as mask

A British man attempted to rob a post office with a plastic shopping bag over his head but was turned away by an employee who very bluntly pointed out the obvious — that he is stupid.  29-year-old Jed James walked into the shop and demanded cash and cigarettes. He had a yellow plastic bag over his head with a slit cut in it so he could see. He told the woman working behind the counter that he had a needle and a knife and she needed to give him what he wanted because, “You know what I’m going to do if you don’t.” The woman was unshaken and called him “stupid.” She then pointed out that there are security cameras all over the place. James replied, “got cameras?” and then bolted out of the shop.  A police officer monitoring closed caption TV later spotted him walking into a supermarket and arrested him as he was stuffing packages of chicken into his pockets. A judge has already sentenced him to more than two years in jail.
