Watch Out for Flooded or Eroded Roads as Spring Thaw Continues
Bagley, MN — As the snow melts and the ground thaws, this is the time of year when our local county and townships roads can become very difficult to navigate. They can become muddy, rutted, eroded, and even completely washed out. Clearwater County Sheriff Darin Halverson is asking drivers to drive with caution, stay off flooded roads, and not to ignore the barricades if a road needs to become closed.
And if you happen to come across a road that is washed out or is flooding that hasn’t been marked, Sheriff Halverson asks that you please contact either the County Highway Department or Sheriff’s to report it so that crews can put out warning signs.
