Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School Selects Jordan Spaeth as New Superintendent
Waubun, MN — The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School Board has chosen to hire within for their next school Superintendent. The board interviewed their top three Superintendent candidates last week and have agreed to offer the position to current Assistant Principal and Activities Director Jordan Spaeth. He has verbally accepted the position. Interim Superintendent Todd Cameron, who will assist with the transition, says Spaeth was a good fit because of his knowledge of the school and community and great leadership skills.
Spaeth and the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School Board entered contract negotiations earlier this week and the board will look to officially approve his contract at their regular meeting on March 22nd. It is expected that he will take over the Superintendent position on July 1st.
