Ways to help make healthy choices
March is National Nutrition Month, which means that it’s a perfect time for people to start making healthy choices. However there are a lot of people who don’t know where to start. Kristi Rott of Norman Mahnomen Public Health says a good place to start is at the Grocery Store.
Rott says it’s also a good idea to meal plan, and prep, as homemade meals are often healthier, and cheaper than eating out.
When out shopping, and prepping for meals, Rott says it’s also a good practice to check the labels of products so that you know what exactly you’re putting into your body.
Lastly, Rott says another easy way to live a healthier life is to drink more water, and stay hydrated.
