We the Nuclear Free North at the Rainy Lake Square on 7/31
If you’re gonna be over at Rainy Lake Square in Fort Frances between the times of 10am-4pm then make sure to pay a visit to We the Nuclear Free North. They are gonna be holding an event to bring awareness to a project that involves Nuclear waste and where and how it’s being discarded. We got to talk to Brennain, a volunteer for We the Nuclear Free North, who told us about what the organization is.
She then tells us about their visit to Fort Frances on Thursday August 1st.
How long has Nuclear Free been around? And how did the organization get its start?
Brennain shared lots of encouragement to stop by and learn more about what they’re trying to inform others about.
She also makes sure to share where you can get in touch with the organization for more info.
This is a subject that Brennain, along with everyone else involved with Nuclear Free, has a great passion and especially a great concern towards because of the effect it could have on the areas where the waste could be dumped.
Visit We the Nuclear Free North at the Rainy Lake Square, downtown Scott Street, Fort Frances, on Thursday, August 1st between 10 and 4.
Drop by for information about nuclear waste transportation and burial in northwestern Ontario and learn how to get involved.
Bring the kids to make a button, take a selfie, and spin the wheel for child-appropriate questions and answers.
